At Rose Speech Therapy, we understand the profound impact that communication difficulties can have on quality of life.
Whether it’s struggling to speak clearly, express thoughts, comprehend language, or any other communication challenge, we understand the importance of addressing these hurdles with sensitivity and expertise.
Our services are delivered in the most appropriate location, to meet our client’s needs. We work in the following settings:
When you contact us to discuss your requirements, we will offer you the first available appointment that is mutually convenient. This is usually within a week.
Our charges are dependent on the service you require. Once we have discussed your needs, we can send you our T&Cs including fees.
We are registered with several of the major insurance companies. Your level of cover will depend on your individual policy. Some insurers will cover a specified number of sessions. Some insurers cover all the costs of treatment, while others require you to contribute to this.
Rose Speech Therapy can shape its services around treatment already being provided.
There are specific guidelines requiring independent and NHS speech and language therapists to liaise when working with a client.
The guidelines from the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists require all speech and language therapists to share information and avoid duplication.
You can combine independent speech therapy with your NHS treatment.
Before any confidential information can be shared, each therapist will need your consent.
We are not a paediatric service. We typically see clients ranging from young adult to end-of-life care. We do see clients who are approaching the transition to adult services as their needs fit more with our service than that of a paediatric SLT.
We are not autism specialists.
If you are unsure whether or not we are the right service for you, please get in touch for a chat. If we are unable to help, we are happy to point you in the right direction.
